Temple & Webster discount code FAQs
If you’re looking for an active code, or have questions about using one, you’re not alone. It’s something I think about wherever I shop (especially if something I want is full price). So here I’ve pulled together answers to some of the most common ones about Temple & Webster.
Can I use more than one discount code at a time?
Unfortunately, no. Temple & Webster only lets you use one discount code at a time. But some codes may be reusable during the promo period, so be sure to check out the fine print for all the details.
Can I get a Temple & Webster discount code via email?
Yes, you can score $25 off your first order when you sign up for Temple & Webster’s mailing list. Just enter your email and you’ll be sent a code you can use to save on orders over $199. Here’s the offer I got when I signed up:

Does Temple & Webster have other promo codes or offers for first-time orders?
Yes. If you get the Temple & Webster app and you get $20 off your first in-app purchase over $199.
What if the Temple & Webster coupon code doesn’t work?
The good news is that Temple & Webster often has active promo codes and some of the most common issues at the checkout are easy to fix.
The BHG Deals Team also verify every promo code and offer here, calling out key details (like expiry dates) and regularly checking each code to verify that they’re working as they should.
But if you got the code from somewhere else, or are having trouble, here are the steps we take that can also help you find a solution.
- Check the code is entered exactly as it’s written: Codes may be case sensitive, so even a lowercase letter instead of a capital could stop it from working. Fortunately, this is an easy fix: just re-enter it.
- Confirm your order value meets any minimum spending conditions: For example, the $25 discount you get from signing up to the newsletter can only be used if your cart total is over $199.
- Review any exclusions: For example, the discount may only be available for a particular product or, for free shipping promo codes the actual postcode may be excluded. I often check the Temple & Webster promo terms page, which lists postcode exclusions, so you can check yours there for a specific free shipping code.
- Check if another discount has been applied: Most Temple & Webster promo codes don’t work in conjunction with other promotions or offers, or for clearance items. So if what you’re buying is already reduced, that could be why the code isn’t applying.
You can also contact Temple & Webster through the Help Centre or by calling 1300 900 675 to get help from them. But I’ve found the steps above often solve it when I’m using a valid code.
More ways to save at Temple & Webster – tried and tested by the BHG team
I’m always on the lookout for ways to save that little bit more – it’s part of my job as well as my nature. So of course I had to swap notes with the rest of the BHG team who’ve been shopping at Temple & Webster. Here are the top ways we’ve saved – and you can too.
- Newsletter discount: Temple & Webster offers a $25 discount on your first order over $199 when you sign up to the newsletter. I got my welcome email within moments of signing up, and the discount coupon was also added to my account on the site. Since then, I’ve been sent sale updates and other offers – which are handy when I’m on the hunt for my next home bargain.
- App offer: You can save $20 off your first purchase over $199 in the Temple & Webster app. It’s an easy way to save and so convenient when shopping from your phone.
- Refer a friend: Have a friend who’s never shopped at Temple & Webster? You can give them $25 off their first order over $199 and will get $25 off for yourself each time you successfully refer a friend who makes a purchase through your link. And you can refer up to 100 friends through your account (I’m imagining what I’d buy with the $2500 worth of savings now).
- Use the filters: I love filters for finding what I want. Just click ‘Refine by’ when you’re browsing to view all the filters – my favourite is ‘Special Offers’ because it shows the latest offers, clearance products and in some cases free shipping.
- Check out Trade + Commercial accounts: This is a bit niche, but if you run a business and need furniture, work as a designer or in another related field, you could register for a Temple & Webster Trade + Commercial account for exclusive pricing and offers. You also get $50 off your first order when you register with your ABN.

“I love shopping on Temple & Webster to find modern replicas of vintage style items. I have a collection of Tiffany and bank style lamps that I love because the stained glass gives my apartment a cosy glow in the evening, they bring loads of character to the space, and all without breaking the bank.”
Megan Osborne, Better Homes & Gardens Editor on shopping at Temple & Webster
Temple & Webster delivery: The key lessons I learned and what you need to know
Temple & Webster sometimes runs free delivery promotions, either with a promo code or as an offer automatically applied at checkout. I’ve also seen a $2 shipping promo at Temple & Webster before. These promotions are usually limited to specific items or metro areas, but when available they are an easy way to save on your order.
Outside of promotions, Temple & Webster charges a delivery fee based on the weight, size, delivery location and delivery provider, which is typical for most furniture stores. You can get an estimated delivery cost by entering your postcode in your cart summary.
As an example, when I bought this large lemon-print doormat on sale, I paid a delivery fee of $13.59 for an address outside a ‘metro’ delivery area, which did surprise me. Fortunately, the discounted sale price meant shipping only added an extra $6 to what I would have paid if it wasn’t on sale.
I was also impressed by the the delivery speed and the actual quality of the doormat, so I do think it was worth it. But I’ve made it a habit to check Temple & Webster’s delivery cost before I commit to a purchase. And if it’s full-price, I’d probably wait for a free shipping promo or another discount code to help offset the delivery fee.
Temple & Webster delivery fee: Why free shipping offers are so valuable
I’ve found Temple & Webster delivery fees can be very different depending on the item and your location. So to give you a snapshot, I’ve got quotes for four popular (and BHG-featured) items on Temple & Webster, looking at delivery to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. I’ve included the weight for each one, but based on the quotes it’s clear the dimensions and type of item also influence the cost and the added value gained when getting the free shipping offer, along with the location.
If you shop when there’s a free shipping promotion, this is the out-of-pocket cost you would save on at checkout:
| Item | Weight | Sydney delivery | Melbourne delivery | Brisbane delivery | Perth delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Idyll 3-Seat Sofa Bed | 38kg | $57.95 | $47.95 | $84.95 | $137.95 |
| Callix 2-Door Entertainment Unit | 39.9kg | $35.95 | $40.95 | $43.95 | $87.95 |
| Poinsettia Leadlight Tiffany Table Lamp | 3.4kg | $12.95 | $8.95 | $12.95 | $20.95 |
| Gaya Galvanised Steel Raised Garden Bed (240cm model) | 12.6kg | $15.95 | $9.95 | $18.95 | $32.95 |
Editor’s tip: Temple & Webster promotions with free shipping, flat shipping rates or other discounts only last for a limited time, so it’s worth signing up to the newsletter or keeping an eye out on the site – we’ll include any relevant offers here, too. It’s also r good reason to start building a wishlist on your account, so you’re ready to shop when free shipping is offered.
How long does delivery take?
Temple & Webster delivery could take as little as 1-2 business days, but can take longer depending on the items, delivery provider and your location.
To give you an idea, my doormat was delivered to a regional address two days after I bought it. But I would expect larger and heavier items to take longer to get to me. You can get estimates on Temple & Webster, including for when items leave the warehouse, and get tracking and delivery options when you place an order.
What is Temple & Webster’s return policy?
Temple & Webster offers a 30-day return policy if you change your mind. But you have to cover the shipping costs for the return and typically get a store credit rather than a refund.
Exceptions include made-to-order products, mattresses and clearance items.
If you want the option of a refund, you can buy Temple & Webster’s “Purchase Protection” at the checkout for an extra fee – it was $3.95 when I was looking at a sofa bed. This lets you return the item within 100 days for a full refund but does mean you spend more upfront.
If there’s an issue with your order, contact Temple & Webster so they can find a solution under Australian Consumer Law.
I haven’t needed to return anything to Temple & Webster, but BHG Product Manager Sanjukta Paul has shopped there a lot more than me and tells me “their return process and customer support is very good” when it’s needed.
From discount codes to stylish pieces – here’s why the BHG team shops at Temple & Webster
Temple & Webster is one of the Better Homes & Gardens Australia team’s go-to online stores for affordable furniture and homewares, featuring in our articles on the best sofa beds, sofas, striped bedding, blackout blinds, home exercise gear – and even this article on Kmart dupes. But more than that, we’ve shopped at Temple & Webster ourselves – so we know a discount, promo code or sale can make all the difference to your cart.
But if you’re new to Temple & Webster, I’d describe it to you as the kind of furniture and homeware store that has something for everyone, with an emphasis on value and quality.
In fact, I’ve recently been browsing the renovation section for tiles to update my outdoor space, while Better Homes & Gardens Editor Megan Osborne has a beautiful collection of lamps from Temple & Webster, and Product Manager Sanjukta Paul has bought coffee tables, side tables, bed frames and chairs from Temple & Webster (I even remember her mentioning it when we first worked on this discount code guide).
“Quality-wise, everything I’ve bought from Temple & Webster is durable and long-lasting,” she says.
I’ve also been impressed with the amount of discount codes and promotional offers I’ve got through the Temple & Webster newsletter. So while my wishlist grows (which now includes this lamp inspired by Megan’s collection, and this rug from Darren Palmer’s collection), I’m always keeping an eye out for a discount, free shipping promo code or other offer to add to my cart.
