How can I avoid paying for shipping on Etsy?
Etsy has a filter for free shipping when you’re searching for items. Just click on filters, go to ‘Special offers’ and check the box ‘Free delivery’ to view all the listings that have free delivery options.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that Etsy sellers choose their own shipping rates. So if you find a seller who has a few things you want, you could consider contacting them to negotiate on the delivery fees for a larger order.
Does Etsy take 10% from sellers?
Etsy Australia doesn’t take a fixed rate of 10% or 20% from sellers but it does charge a 6.5% transaction fee and 3-4% plus an $0.25 payment processing fee for each sale. There’s also a $0.29 listing fee which activates a listing for four months. So in some cases, these fees could add up to more than 10%, but it depends on the items being sold (among other things). How long does delivery take?
