- Sales: Fantastic Furniture has sales throughout the year, including the occasional catalogue sale you can view and shop online. I’ve also found some big savings during major sales including Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Boxing Day and EOFY. For example, last EOFY you could get up to $200 off sofas, and for Black Friday, up to 20% off select items. And with furniture, it doesn’t take long for a discount of 20% to add up to hundreds of dollars in savings.

Buying new furniture at any price often brings up plenty of questions, so I’ve put together answers for some of the most common questions about Fantastic Furniture discount codes, delivery, products and more.
FAQs about discounts
Fantastic Furniture doesn’t have a discount just for students at the moment, but has run student discount promotions in the past. For example, in January 2026 Fantastic Furniture had a 10% off for students promotion where university students could get a discount on selected full-price Fantastic Furniture items in the ‘Office’ range (think desks and chairs). The promotion was from December 29, 2025 until February 8, 2026 but, when I found and updated this article to include it, I also noted it was only available in store.
I’ve got my eye out for more Fantastic Furniture student deals, and will post them here when they’re released. In the meantime, students can use any of the deals here to save.
Fantastic Furniture may sometimes run promotions for free delivery, but most of the time you will pay a fee for delivery. Prices start from $29 for small items in metro areas, and from $79 for standard delivery. For deliveries with Fantastic Furniture, can even ask the delivery driver to put your furniture in a specific room or area of your home when they deliver it. For Online Exclusive deliveries, the price and delivery options depend on the suppliers.
Alternatively, it’s free to click and collect an order from a Fantastic Furniture store.
Unfortunately, there’s currently no discount code for first-time customers at Fantastic Furniture. But if there is one, we’ll add it here. And you may even find a deal you want to use right now – in my experience, new customer discounts are often around 10% to 20% off (and may only be for full-price items), and I’ve seen bigger discounts at Fantastic Furniture that anyone can get.
FAQs about payments, deliveries and returns
Yes. Fantastic Furniture sells gift cards in-store, but they can also only be used for purchases made in-store. I double-checked this at the checkout on the Fantastic Furniture website, and there’s no option to pay with a gift card. I also read the gift card terms of use, and they only outline how to use them for purchases made in a Fantastic Furniture store.
Fantastic Furniture gift cards are valid for 3 years – or, technically “36 months from the issue date” – so you do have time to shop in store and use one.
Yes, you can use Afterpay and Zip to buy now and pay later, or an eligible credit card that offers Latitude Interest Free. You can also use PayPal (including the Pay in 4 option), or pay with a Visa/Mastercard debit or credit card.
You’ll get an estimate of both the delivery timeframe and cost before you place an order with Fantastic Furniture. If the items are in stock at your local store’s warehouse, you’ll be contacted to organise a delivery date. For Online Exclusive and other courier deliveries, you’ll get an email with delivery details.
If you change your mind about an item, you can get a full refund on it within the first 30 days. But this doesn’t include any delivery fees to or from Fantastic Furniture.
It also doesn’t include mattresses, ex-floor stock, made to order items or items sold “as is” with listed defects.
Fantastic Furniture also has a range of warranties for different items, which can be anywhere from 1-10 years. For example, rugs, cushions, lamps, mirrors and other ‘Home Accessory products’ have a 1-year warranty and selected sofas have a 3-6 year warranty (depending on the sofa). These warranties cover you against manufacturing defects and issues during the warranty period. It’s not exactly the same as a return, but does give you some protection for longer than the typical returns period.
FAQs about the brand
The name may be a giveaway, but Fantastic Furniture may sell more than you realise. As well as dining table sets, bookcases, wardrobes, desks, sofas, beds and all kinds of home furniture for indoor and outdoors, it has an impressive range of rugs, lighting and decor and pet furniture and accessories when you’re shopping online.
It depends on what you’re buying, but items like tables, chairs, bookcases, wardrobes and bed frames from Fantastic Furniture often require assembly. Fantastic Furniture doesn’t offer an assembly service but may be able to recommend one if you don’t want to do it yourself.
But I can tell you from experience that assembling Fantastic Furniture pieces is usually straightforward – my first dining table and chairs were from the store and took me much less time than I expected (around 90 minutes to assemble on my own). When I moved, it was also easy to partly disassemble them, then put them back together, too.
