- Price beat offer: When you’re looking at something on The Good Guys website, you may spot a box that says “Price check: Pay less with PRICE BEAT” – clicking that will show you the lowest available price that The Good Guys can find for that product. I use it every time I’m shopping with them, and it’s saved me over $100 on an item in some cases. You can also call The Good Guys on 1300 942 765 if you see an item you want for less.
- Deals: The Good Guys has a deals section where you can find limited-time hot offers, top deals and promotions. To give you an idea, I found $100 off a Ninja Foodi Max XXXL air fryer and $451 off a Westinghouse 425L bottom mount fridge in February 2026.
- Newsletters: By subscribing to The Good Guys newsletter, you’ll get all the exclusive discounts and promotional catalogues right to your inbox.
- Gold Service Extra: This paid member program unlocks a huge range of benefits, including dedicated support for eligible purchases, simple replacement of products priced up to $500, repair period guarantee, in-home repairs for larger appliances and three $20 Store Credits every 12 months. Membership also gives you an extended 30-day price match guarantee so you can get a better price even after buying something. Gold Service Extra is offered at the checkout when you’re buying an eligible product, and the price varies – it was $125 for three years of membership when I checked for a fridge in February 2026.

Does The Good Guys have a first order discount?
Unfortunately, The Good Guys doesn’t currently offer a discount or promo code to save on your first order. But, depending on what you buy, you could save with the PRICE BEAT option.
Does The Good Guys have a student discount?
As of February 2026, The Good Guys doesn’t currently have a dedicated student discount code or program, but there is a Back To School page with relevant offers and a competition. In the past, The Good Guys has also offered student discounts through Uni Deals and Student Edge, such as $20 off when you spend $200 and enter a code via Student Edge (which expired on 30 June 2025).
Is there a promo code for free shipping with The Good Guys?
The Good Guys may sometimes have a free shipping promotion for a limited time or for specific products, and you can click and collect your order for free. But otherwise, delivery fees are calculated at the checkout, based on details including the size, weight and delivery location.
To give you an idea, when I checked delivery fees to central Sydney, an air fryer had a $12 delivery fee and a 425L fridge had a $59 delivery fee.
How to get a The Good Guys voucher?
The Good Guys Gold Service Extra membership is a simple way to get three $20 vouchers every 12 months, which are issued as 90 Day StoreCash through a digital wallet. You have 90 days to use each of the $20 store credits.
Another option is to purchase gift cards to use at The Good Guys – or let people know that they’re on your wishlist.
How can I get a ‘Price Beat’ discount with The Good Guys?
When you’re on The Good Guys website, click on the product you’re interested in to view all the details. Look for the tile with the green check mark (after the product images), and click on it. You’ll then be able to view the lowest price The Good Guys can find for this product, and can claim the discounted price by clicking ‘Add to cart’ from there.
Is there a difference between shopping online and in-store with The Good Guys?
One of the biggest differences is that in-store you can physically check out products you’re interested in and ask staff about them, whereas online you can check the specs, read customer reviews and use the chat or phone service if you have questions. Another difference is the price check option on The Good Guys website – these discount offers are usually based on competitor prices and you can only claim them at the time you view them online –although if you’re in-store, you could ask them to price match.
How long until my order’s delivered by The Good Guys?
You can get your order as soon as the next day, depending on where you are and as long as you’ve completed your order before 4pm.
There’s also the option for Uber deliveries at many locations, if you’re within 10 kilometres of the store. If you select this option, you may be able to get your order within as little as 90 minutes. Amazon can’t even beat that!

In some cases, your order could be ready in one hour during store trading hours. You’ll get an email letting you know when your order is ready for pickup.
Are returns free with The Good Guys?
You can return items for free by taking them to your nearest The Good Guys store. But you won’t be able to ship them back to a store for free. You also won’t get any of the original shipping costs refunded.
