How BHG gets these Renogy discount codes and deals
We’re all about home improvements, including efficient and sustainable energy solutions, but we also know they can be a big investment – and a discount code or deal can make all the difference. So our team researches the market and works with partners like Renogy to source the best offers and exclusive deals. We also test each discount code ourselves, read the fine print and remove expired offers to make sure you can use any discount code or deal that you click on.

“Renogy has an impressive amount of gear to go off-grid, particularly if you want to power a shed, tiny home, camper or caravan – or even for camping setups that include a portable fridge freezer, lights, and other appliances you want to power when you’re away.”

To get one of these discounts, you need to sign up for a free account with Student Beans (for students), Grad Beans (for graduates) or Beans iD (for other groups). Just keep in mind that you also need to verify your eligibility when you register.
More ways to save with Renogy
- Sales: Renogy has a sales section on the website where you’ll find solar panels, batteries and other power management solutions at discounted prices. For example, you could save $118 on a 12V 60A DC to DC Battery Charger when I checked in February 2026 – and some discounts were 36% or more.
- Free shipping: A range of Renogy products offer free shipping to most parts of Australia. Renogy lists details on the product pages, and you can get accurate details when you enter you delivery address at the checkout.
- Government incentives and rebates: Australia’s federal and state governments often have renewable energy programs that can help you save on the costs, either when you’re setting it up or down the track, and some Renogy products may be eligible. You can check energy.gov.au for the latest rebates and offers in your area.
- Renogy membership: Renogy has a free membership program where you can earn rewards based on your spending. Similar to other point-based programs, you earn ‘Rays’ for your spending and other activities, which you can redeem for gift cards towards a future purchase. You’ll earn 100 Rays for becoming a member, 100 for signing up to the newsletter and between 10 and 15 Rays per $1 on spending with Renogy. So it’s a simply way to get rewarded for what you spend on solar, batteries and other off-grid products.

Renogy offers solar panels, batteries, inverters and accessories with a particular focus on smaller scale off-grid setups, such as sheds, tiny homes, caravans and 4WDs or RVs. Depending on your goals, you could go completely off-grid with a Renogy package, or set yourself up with a portable power solution.
Where does Renogy Australia ship from?
Products from Renogy Australia typically ship from Sydney or Melbourne, with suburban locations in South Granville (NSW), Villawood (NSW) and Derrimut (VIC).
How do I work out how much power I need when shopping with Renogy?
You can contact Renogy through the online chat service or by calling 1800 560 588 to get help calculating your power needs. I also noticed Renogy is developing an interactive calculator to give you an idea of the ideal setup for a cabin, RV or yacht.
Can you walk on Renogy flexible solar panels?
While these solar panels are flexible, Renogy doesn’t recommend walking on them as it could potentially damage the panels.
Where is Renogy based?
Renogy is an American company founded in 2010 following a project by students at Louisiana State University and founded by Yi Li who got her bachelor’s degree in China. Renogy has a head office in the Californian city of Ontario and operates globally, including in Australia.
Is Renogy publicly traded?
No, Renogy is a privately-owned company.
Do Renogy Australia products come with a warranty?
Yes, depending on what you buy, your Renogy items may be eligible for a warranty, with periods ranging from 1-25 years when I checked the warranty details in February 2026 (here’s the .pdf). You also have consumer rights and guarantees for any goods and services you buy under Australian Consumer Law.
Government incentives for solar panels and other renewable energy solutions
Beyond a Renogy discount code or deal, it’s worth checking what rebates or other incentives may also be available. We notice Renogy sometimes highlights eligible offers on the product pages, but as a more general overview, here are some of the key programs available now.
- Rooftop solar discounts: The Australian government’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme gives you a way to claim what’s known as SCTs (Small Scale Technology Certificates), and if you assign them to a registered agent, they’ll be able to help you get a discount on the upfront cost of installing solar panels on your roof.
- Cheaper Home Batteries Program: This expanded, $7.2 billion federal government program offers a discount of around 30% on the cost of installing an eligible small-scale battery system at home.
- Energy rebates and assistance: The government’s energy website has a dedicated guide to rebates and assistance available across Australia, as well as those specific to your state or territory, so it’s worth checking there when you’re considering upgrades.
