Does David Jones have a promo code for $10 off your first order?
David Jones Rewards previously offered $10 off your first order as a Welcome Reward for members. But the David Jones Rewards program was updated in October 2025 and there was no $10 Welcome Reward, or any discount code promotion for members when I was updating this article.
I also checked the program’s terms and conditions, and created a second account to double-check this against my existing account. The updated welcome email had details about the loyalty program but there was no mention of a $10 Welcome Reward. If a new promotion launches, we’ll update you here.
What are the benefits of the new David Jones Rewards program?
One of the main benefits is that you earn points for your spending with David Jones, with a choice of the store’s own rewards points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points.
- If you choose David Jones Reward points: You earn 3 points per $1 spent at David Jones, with every 1500 points giving you a $10 David Jones Reward you can use on a future purchase.
- If you choose Qantas Frequent Flyer Points: You earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent at David Jones, which you can redeem for flights and other travel, gift cards, retail items and more.
As well as points, you get a Birthday Reward each year – with a $10 discount, $20 discount or $30 discount depending on your membership tier – member offers, bonus point events and exclusive prize draws.

Yes, you can get free standard delivery in Australia for orders over $100. A $10 fee applies for standard delivery orders under $100, while express delivery is a flat fee of $12.95.
Delivery fees also apply if you purchase bulky items, such as a mattress or furniture, with the exact amount shown at the checkout or when organising delivery.
Delivery times
Dispatch usually takes 1-3 days from David Jones. After it’s shipped, a standard post order usually takes 2-5 business days in metro areas or up to 7 business days if you’re in WA or a regional or remote area of Australia. Express post order takes around 1-3 days in most metro areas and up to 7 days for WA and regional areas.
You can also pay $15 for Metro Same Day delivery if you’re in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.
Click and collect
Click and collect is free at any David Jones store in Australia. If you order before 1pm, you can even pick up orders after 4pm on the same day, as long as what you’ve bought is available at that David Jones store. Your order will also be kept at the store for 14 days, if you need more time to get there.
What is David Jones’s returns policy?
You can return most items for free at a David Jones store within 30 days when you have proof of purchase and the item is in its original condition. You can also return items by post, but will only be eligible for a refund rather than an exchange.
If an item is faulty or doesn’t meet another one of David Jones’ consumer guarantees, you may be able to return it for a refund, exchange or repair even after 30 days. Contact the store to find out your options.
Can I use buy now pay later?
