Jet off for less with BHG’s Emirates discount codes

Planning a travel adventure? Emirates flies all over the world through its Dubai hub, connecting you to over 150 cities across six continents. From Australia, you can jump on board an Emirates flight in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide (with connections from most regional airports thanks to their partnership with Qantas) – all with direct flights to Dubai that open up the world. Whether you’re planning a European adventure, an Asian escape or a Middle Eastern getaway, Emirates’ fleet of Airbus A380s, A350s and Boeing 777s makes long-haul travel feel less exhausting, with proper leg room and decent entertainment.

But of course, the full-service standards of Emirates come at a cost. So if you’re balancing budget and comfort, the Better Homes & Gardens Deals Team are here to help, drawing on years of experience and industry contacts to bring you the latest Emirates discount code offers, sales and other deals. We personally test each code to make sure it works, and read the terms and conditions for important details. So every Emirates code and deal here is verified and current, which means all you need to do is choose your trip – oh, and make sure your passport is up to date, and pack!

How to use an Emirates discount code

  1. Pick your code: Click the deal above to reveal your Emirates promo code.
  2. Head to Emirates: We’ve opened a tab at emirates.com/au so you can search flights to your dream destination.
  3. Add your code: You may be used to adding a promo code at checkout, but with Emirates you add your discount code when you search for flights. On the ‘Book a Flight’ page, you’ll see a dropdown arrow that says ‘Use promotional code’. Click here, then add in your code. If using a valid code, you’ll see your discounted flight prices when you search.
An Emirates discount code can be added during a flight search by clicking on the 'Use promotional code' text.
The field to enter your Emirates discount code during a flight search appears after you select the promotional code option during your search.

“Emirates is partnered with Qantas Frequent Flyer, which means you can use Qantas Points for reward flights across their network. But if your goal is international flights, I recommend signing up to Emirates Skywards – it’s a bit harder to earn points in Australia but easier to get Emirates reward flights in the long run. Especially for serious points (or miles) chasers.”

Other ways to save at Emirates

  • Join Emirates Skywards, the free loyalty program, and earn Skywards Miles on every flight that can be redeemed for reward flights and upgrades.
  • If you are stopping over in Dubai your boarding pass from your Emirates flight becomes your My Emirates Pass (so make sure you save it if it’s a paper copy or screen shot it) and use it at select venues, attractions, restaurants and shopping for exclusive discounts across Dubai.
  • Travel during off-peak seasons (avoid school holidays and major events) for better fares.
  • Consider stopover packages in Dubai – Emirates offers multi-day deals that can be cheaper than flying direct elsewhere.
  • You’ll enjoy free wifi throughout your flight if you sign up as a Skywards member.

I really rate Emirates Skywards for how uncomplicated it is. If you’ve got enough frequent flyer miles, you can upgrade your paid ticket to business class when you book or anytime before departure – no waiting for tier status or messing about with bidding systems. It’s refreshingly simple.

What we rate about Emirates

What makes Emirates special is how they’ve genuinely elevated long-haul travel. The ICE entertainment system offers hundreds of movies, TV shows and games so you’re never bored on 14-hour flights. You’ll even get free Wi-Fi throughout your flight if you sign up as a Skywards member.

The A380 experience with its spacious cabins and onboard bar for Business passengers makes flying feel special rather than something to endure. Their partnership with Qantas means seamless connections across Australia and beyond. Whether you’re flying Economy or splashing out on First Class, Emirates delivers an experience that makes those long flights to Europe or the Middle East actually enjoyable.

When booking flights for a holiday, most people look for the cheapest and quickest way to get to their chosen destination. However, getting there is half the fun, and you shouldn’t overlook those flights that have stopovers or layovers in midway cities. Flying with Emirates? Known for its modern architecture, Dubai is a bustling hub for celebrities and influencers alike. Take a trip to the 148th floor of the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa to get picturesque views of the city.
