How do Ruggable washable rugs work?
The original two-piece system features a lightweight washable rug cover that detaches from a non-slip rug pad. Remove the cover, wash it in your machine, air dry and reattach. The new All-in-One system has an integrated pad with ultra-flexible silicone backing. For larger rugs you may want to take them to a launderette where they have bigger machines.
Can I wash Ruggable rugs in my washing machine?
Yes, Ruggable rug covers are designed for standard home washing machines. The two-piece system covers detach for washing. The All-in-One rugs (up to 60cm x 90cm) wash as one piece. Use cold water, mild detergent and air dry. For larger rugs, use a commercial washing machine at a launderette.
How often should I wash my Ruggable rug?
A good general rule is to wash your rugs at least every few months, and spot-clean as needed in between. The frequency of washing may be different if you have pets of for rugs in high traffic areas of your home, too.
Does Ruggable deliver to Australia?
Yes, Ruggable delivers Australia-wide with free shipping on all orders. Orders are typically dispatched within two to four weeks as each rug is made to order in Melbourne. You’ll receive tracking information once your order ships via Australia Post. Ruggable does not ship to PO Boxes.
