Tucked away in the Byron hinterland is an ambitious project with a (very) long-term plan. Andy and Deirdre Plummer have not only built themselves a pretty spectacular home, but they’ve also rehabilitated a clapped-out old cow paddock by planting over a hundred and twenty thousand trees, some of which won’t mature for another three hundred years. But first, Johanna tours their amazing home that’s been designed specifically for the way they live. This architectural marvel also sports two sheds, but these are like no other backyard sheds you’ve ever seen. In every way, Lune de Sang is an extraordinary endeavour.
