Ep 6
Shane & Jane
NSW
Jane and Shane stirred up a lot of controversy at the dinner parties this year, judging the styling of the food just as highly as the taste. But as ‘tasters and not eaters’, they wanted to prove they still had a well-developed palate. Unfortunately, their Instant Restaurant ‘Lyst Haus’ didn’t go to plan, with their entree being judged mediocre and the pigeon main was an absolute disaster. On the bright side, their unique tomato sour dessert was a hit, but not enough to save them.
The couple cooked last in the Instant Restaurant Round 1 and, until that point, it looked like fellow contestants Alisha and Deanna were going home as they had only scored 68. However, Jane and Shane reached new lows, getting just 50 points, and with that they ended up last on the leaderboard and were the first team to be eliminated from My Kitchen Rules 2026.
