There’s a food stylist who isn’t afraid to share what she really thinks, two besties a.k.a classy bogans, a wholesome mother and daughter duo, and two best friends who work in the funeral business.

Best mates from SA
Angus and Simon are best mates from South Australia, and they’re ready to bury their competition! Angus is a 5th-generation funeral director so you can expect plenty of puns and a dark sense of humour at their instant restaurant ‘Last Orders’. They said the food is “going to be to die for”, and “when it comes to cooking, we’re dead serious”. But of course, nothing ever goes to plan.

Krysten and Lucy
Mum and daughter from QLD
Farm foodies and mum-and-daughter duo, Krysten and Lucy, are welcoming Colin, Manu, and all the MKR teams to their gorgeous QLD farm. Surrounded by fresh food and animals, they’re excited to share their love for home cooking.

Classy bogans from SA
Best friends Alisha and Deanna may look fancy, but they aren’t. They love good, wholesome home cooking and they intend to bring it to their own instant restaurant. They may be clumsy and chaotic in the kitchen, but they cook from the heart and will never give up.

Food stylist from NSW
Jane and Shane are a competitive team from NSW, and Jane – a food stylist – is eager to share her critique on everything. Jane is here to judge the food and the crockery, but when it comes to putting her money where her mouth is, will they show up at their instant restaurant?
