The winners of My Kitchen Rules 2025 are… Justin and Will! To be honest, we’re not surprised. Justin and Will have consistently used simple, tasty combinations to create elevated and restaurant-worthy dishes. From an 81/100 in their Instant Restaurant (Round 3) to winning the Round 1 semi-final, this dynamic duo is wholly deserving of winning first place.
The two judges, Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel, were blown away by the grand finalists. Colin commented that they were “the most exciting cooks I’ve seen in a Grand Final in a long time.”
And, with all the drama that unfolded throughout the season, Justin and Will stood out as a duo full of heart and kindness. If that doesn’t deserve top spot, we don’t know what does!
What did the MKR grand finale entail?
In the grand finale episode of MKR, Justin and Will went head-to-head with Maria and Bailey in a multiple-course extravaganza. They made four dishes: a canape, a seafood dish, a meat dish and a dessert.
In the end, Justin and Will won first place by just 1 point, making it one of the closest MKR grand finales ever.
With their family watching from the balcony above, along with eliminated contestants, the pair was ecstatic to take home the $100,000 prize. “We’ve made ourselves proud, we’ve made our kids proud, that’s just amazing,” Will emotionally said upon their win.
Justin and Will’s winning dishes
Justin and Will made a statement with their four-course menu. For their canape, they made smoked hock ham and gruyere croquettes, followed up with pickled kingfish with brioche and green papaya chutney for their seafood dish, and red wine braised short rib for their main. And their dessert? Hopping onto the viral Dubai chocolate trend, Justin and Will made a Dubai chocolate eclair.
It was the braised beef short ribs that won them a perfect 10 from Colin Fassnidge. Colin commented that “This is like what I grew up eating. It adds a smile to your face, I love that dish. Well done.” showing that elevating simple dishes is Justin and Will’s forte in the kitchen.
The Dubai chocolate eclair also won them 10/10, from both judges this time. Described by Colin as ‘degustation-level dining’, this viral trend made for the perfect ending to the pair’s dinner.
What Maria and Bailey served up
Maria and Bailey, on the other hand, started out the night on a more decadent note, with an olive oil tartlet filled with taramasalata and caviar. This was followed up with lobster and prawn raviolo as their seafood dish and chicken ballotine with mash as their meat.
Finishing up on a Blondies Bakehouse classic, a red velvet and cream cheese cookie, the pair made an impact with a 10/10 for their dessert.
In the end, Justin and Will came out on top with a score of 73/80, while competitors Maria and Bailey were only one point behind, on 72. And although she didn’t take home the win, Maria was happy with the final praise from the judges: “All the tears, all the stress, it was all worth it”.

How much money did the MKR winners win?
The winners of My Kitchen Rules receive $100,000 in cash, along with the ultimate bragging rights.
While runners-up Maria and Bailey were hoping to win the cash and open up the first store for Blondies Bakehouse, the winners of MKR 2025 haven’t said what they will be using the money for.
