With Black Friday officially just days away (this Friday, November 28), just about every store has a sale on. But Myer’s Black Friday sale stands out to me because the department store has everything I need for Christmas, and then some.
From luxury Christmas trees, decorations and gifts for everyone in the family, to dining ware, kitchen appliances, bedding – the list goes on. So, while industry analysis from IBISWorld has shown department stores are challenged by online and discount variety stores, this sale shows there’s still plenty of value to be found shopping with Myer.

- Myer’s Black Friday sale offers big discounts across major categories, including up to 40 per cent off Christmas decor and 50 per cent off selected cookware.
- Some discounts are even higher, including 52 per cent off the De’Longhi Magnifica Fully Automatic Coffee Machine and 53 per cent off the Dyson V8 stick vacuum.
- The biggest saving I found was $879.45 or 55 per cent off the Sealey Advantage Barbados Mattress (queen-size on sale for $719.55 until Tuesday, November 25).
Just as you could wander a Myer store for hours to take in all the stylish displays, I nearly got lost in all the tabs I had open on the Myer website while I was looking at great deals.
So here, I’ve rounded up some of the best deals available right now at Myer, across different categories. But keep in mind, with these deals, it’s hard to say how long stock will last.

With one month until Christmas, there’s still time to refresh your decorations for the holiday season – and Myer is offering 40 per cent off Christmas trees, decorations and more for Black Friday.

From coffee machines to non-stick fry pan sets and icons like the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer, there are plenty of kitchen essentials and appliances on sale at Myer right now.
Tip: Myer has different categories for kitchenware (i.e. cookware, servingware) and kitchen appliances, so switch between them if you need both – or just go to whichever category fits what you want.

The best household appliance deals for Myer’s Black Friday sale
Need a new vacuum, fan or dehumidifier? Myer’s Black Friday sale has some big deals, including almost $200 off a robot and stick vacuum set from Eufy and 53 per cent on a Dyson V8 vacuum.
Tip: If you see an appliance deal you want, get it while you can – household appliances are one of the major categories predicted to sell out during Black Friday sales in Australia.

Best Myer bedroom items on sale for Black Friday
Some of the best deals I’ve found at Myer are for the bedroom, including 55 per cent off a new Sealy mattress and two silk pillowcases for $44.95 (which would make a lovely, luxurious gift for someone else, or yourself).
