What thread count is best for sheets in Australia?
When it comes to shopping for a new set of fresh bed sheets it’s important to consider your preference for a more structured or softer set. In terms of thread count (TC), sheets with a higher count will be more structured and firm, whereas a lower count will be a more loose and soft sheet.
It is also important to note, that higher thread counts – anything over 700 TC, will be a lot warmer of a sheet. Considering the Australian climate, a sheet set with a 400 TC to 600 TC is most desirable – still soft to the touch but also breathable enough to prevent moisture build-up.
