Plantable stationery

Make your own seed paper

You can create your own bespoke stationery. Simply recycle newspapers, junk mail or any non-glossy paper into beautiful cards and gift tags. The paper-making process is simple – all you need is water and a blender – and the best bit is that you can add seeds to the pulp so the cards and tags can be planted out later. How green is that? Plantable paper cards and tags really are the gift that keeps on giving!

Plantable seed paper card

It’s so easy to make your own seed paper. Turn old paper into pulp, add seeds, then press through a mesh screen onto fabric and hang up to dry. Use stamps to add words and fold in half to make a card. Don’t forget to include instructions on how to plant out the seed paper.
