Australians love to travel by sea – the option to cruise to faraway destinations has always been a popular transport alternative to flying. 1. New York
When you dream of New York, you don’t automatically think of cruise liners – it’s all yellow cabs, bagels and bars. 4. Egypt
If you love ancient history, why not take the path less travelled and cruise down the iconic Nile River? The ancient Red Sea port of Luxor (Safaga) has been used since the 3rd century and is still operating today!
