From a backyard shed pottery wheel, to a factory handcrafting almost five thousand beautiful pieces a week, Mud Australia has conquered the world. As Joh tours the Sydney factory chatting to owner Shelley Simpson, she sees the production process from start to finish and learns about the company’s commitment to sustainability, recycling and an inclusive workplace that features 78 per cent women.
