Gather your supplies
- Black corflute sheet
- Water-based paint
- Textas
- Buckets (2)
- Pebbles
You’ll also need
Brown paper; pencil; masking tape; tape measure; scissors; chalk; paint tray; paint roller; paintbrushes; utility knife; plastic mop or broom handles; black cloth tape
Here’s how
STEP 1 Draw characters on brown paper in pencil using the template on page 2 (you may need to tape a couple of sheets together).
STEP 2 Trim Corflute sheet to about 225cm wide x 125cm high with scissors. Mark a fold line 50cm in from each end on the back for the side pieces of the booth.
STEP 3 Transfer characters to Corflute using chalk, centring them between the fold lines for the side pieces.
STEP 4 Use paint and textas to fill in colours, mark outlines and draw the eyes. Leave to dry.
STEP 5 Cut out the mouth with a utility knife. Secure broom or mop handles to inside corners with cloth tape and sit in pebble-filled buckets to stabilise booth.
