The Melbourne winter can be a bitter season. There’s frost, chilling winds and icy evenings, but rather than enduring the season by hibernating, why not get out and about and visit Melbourne’s Winter Night Market?
From June 5 to August 28 the Winter Night Market will return to Queen Victoria Market every Wednesday night from 5pm to 10pm, while the markets held from July 3 to 31 will be Christmas in July-themed – complete with snow machines, decorations and an ugly Christmas sweater competition
Revellers will find more than 30 street food stalls and festival bars plus 50 specialty artisan stalls open every Wednesday night, making it the perfect location for date night, a family evening out or a mid-winter catch-up with mates.
When you’re done taking in the tastes of the delectable food and drink selection, you can boogie down at the silent disco or sit back and relax a rotating weekly schedule or live entertainment.
