It happens to everyone without explanation but one mum has come up with a way to stop socks from separating in the wash.
Sharing her tip in the Kmart Mums Australia group, Megsie Vincent said attaching a laundry bag to the front of the washing machine with velcro has been the answer to the age-old odd sock problem.
“This is a laundry bag from Kmart (one in a three pack) and I’ve attached it with velcro dots so that I can rip it off and chuck it in the wash,” she wrote
The best part is, this the three pack will set you back $6.
Alternatively, socks can be kept in pairs simply by pinning them together after taking them off.
