You may know Drew Barrymore from her roles in classic films such as E.T, Never Been Kissed, 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer, but this powerhouse actress, producer and director has just added another string to her bow: beauty mogul.
After years sitting in a makeup artist’s chair, Drew has taken everything she’s learnt about beauty over the years and channelled her passion into developing and affordable make-up range that is now stocked in Chemist Warehouse.
The beauty brand is cruelty-free and as effortlessly cool as Drew Barrymore is. Called Flower Beauty, the brand aims to help women feel comfortable in their own skin by encouraging all women to celebrate their individual beauty.
Drew believes that beauty if for everyone, and that philosophy is at the forefront of the brand, which has developed a luxurious yet affordable range of make-up that’s stocked at all Chemist Warehouse stores in Australia, and online. Prices range from $7.99 to $13.99. The Light Illusion Foundation has officially already reached cult status online, as has the Supernova Celestial Skin Elixir.
“For me Flower Beauty is so personal and such a part of who I am,” Barrymore said in a press release announcing the Australian launch.
“‘Love the way you look’ is our main tag line and I’ve always loved that because it was about feeling good about yourself, love yourself, and if you want a little concealer or little mascara to help you get there then here we are for you….but the point is to walk out the door and feel good. Everybody deserves that.”
