You can now take your dog on a gourmet food and wine tour

A paw-fect experience!

While you might be able to buy wine you cat share with your cat, or go to a dog-friendly café, there aren’t a whole lot of gourmet food and wine venues that invite you to bring your pet along. However, an organisation in Victoria is changing all of that.

Gourmet Pawprints is a business that facilitates all sorts of fun experiences that are dog-friendly. You can explore the scenic regions of Victoria and do a Doggy Winery Tour, or you can take a Picnic Adventure, do a Doggy Bay Trek, a Paws and Pours High Tea or even go Truffle Hunting – all with your best four-legged friend!

Each experience is lovingly crafted by founder Kerry and her team. The outings are designed to be effortless and fun and safe for all participants – both human and canine!

There’s even a dog friendly bus to transport everyone on your tour, but the window seats are reserved for pooches. The bus also has seat belts for dogs and humans, dog snuggle blankets, it has a first aid station and emergency vet details, plus heaps of storage for each attendee for things such as beach towels, harnesses, leads, collars, water, poop bags and treats.

All dogs who would like to join a tour need to be desexed, vaccinated, free from contagious illnesses, comfortable around other people, can walk on a lead happily and need to be comfortable in the company of other dogs.
