Doing the laundry isn’t exactly something that ‘sparks joy’ for most of us. In fact, most people try to put-off doing the chore for as long as possible, but all that is about to change thanks to Big W’s new laundry range that’s inspired by Marie Kondo.
The budget retailer has taken the idea of ‘sparking joy’ and applied it to the most mundane of everyday tasks: doing laundry. Big W have transformed the humble clothes hamper and drying rack into something that is pretty, practical and small-space friendly.
The new laundry range has already gone viral online, with many social media users keen to bag themselves the rolling laundry trolley in particular, and it’s available online now.
The new laundry range includes an All-in-One Laundry Trolley which has three different bags for dividing dirty washing that can be removed and washed, but also has a built-in ironing board and locking wheels. The trolley is perfect for trundling through the house picking up the laundry from kids’ bedroom floors, while the ironing board function makes it perfect for those who lack space at home. The trolley is a space-saving and stylish alternative to clunky laundry baskets and ironing boards hanging on the backs of doors, and the best part? It only cost $99.
The concertina bamboo airer has also proven to be very popular on social media. It collapses easily for storage but looks fab when it’s in use, and it will only set you back $49.
The laundry range also includes a variety of storage options for pegs and washing powder.
