When do Boxing Day 2023 sales start and end?
Most Boxing Day sales start 26 December on Boxing Day itself. Though, some retailers start their sales early and have their sales go on to the end of the year.
Which is better, OLED or QLED?
While the abbreviated TV lingo seems intimidating at first, it’s a lot simpler that it sounds. QLED stands for ‘quantum dot light emitting diode’ and OLED, ‘organic light emitting diode’. Series of light emitting diodes (ie. LED) are what usually power Smart TVs to make a core component of the screen: the pixels.
QLEDs produce crisp images and bright colours even in well-lit rooms as they use LCD backlights that pass through a layer of quantum dot layer. While OLEDs feature high contrast and very deep black points as each of their pixels light up independently – producing vibrant and bright images that do not look washed-out in a brightly lit room.
