About working on set with Charlie, Juliet shared, "It's really fun. It's always a laugh, which is good. We actually met working together so it feels really natural to be on set. Last year we worked together on the Boho Springs makeover which I loved. We've only done two segments together but hopefully, a few more this year."
We caught up with Juliet and asked her to share what it's like working on set, family life and if she had any upcoming projects for 2022.
How is life on the farm with the family, the garden and your dogs?
We're in Sydney now most of the time now, with the kids at school. But we're blessed with the best of both worlds and travel up once a month on the weekends to our farm, where Charlie spends a lot of time out in the garden - it's his happy place.
We have two beautiful cockaliers, Darcy and Lulu. We first only had Darcy but Charlie kind of had to convince me, as we already have two children, both of us are working and another dog might be a bit much. But they keep each other company and entertain each other. They're gorgeous, and they're really good friends.
Is it too soon to say, or does Leo(9) and Hartford(7) have an interest in interiors or gardening?
They absolutely love craft or anything creative. Hart, our little one especially loves getting out in the garden with Charlie. He's out on the farm and very involved with the vegie garden. I love that the kids can experience that and see how food grows instead of just seeing it on the supermarket shelf.
Do you watch the episodes together as a family?
Yes, when Charlie started on the show first, we started watching him together as a family. It's a nice thing to do on a friday night. I think Better Homes is one of the only shows on television that you can watch as a family, and it's good clean fun, and you know that there's nothing that's going to upset the children. But the boys aren't very interested in Charlie's segments or mine. They're more interested to see what Ed's cooking or what animal Dr Harry is helping, or who Joh's interviewing.
When you are both off-duty, what are some things you do to wind down?
We love to go on bush walks up on the central coast and in other parts of Sydney. We also love to take the dogs for really long walks with the kids or go camping as a family too.
Are there any new home renovations your currently working on?
Could you give us a sneak peak at some upcoming projects in 2022?
It's still under wraps and hasn't been announced yet, but i'm working on something in the homewares space, and i'm really enjoying it.
