In a video that has now gone viral on Tik Tok, recipe creator, Marie reveals her secret hack to make upside-down cottage pie.

Currently based in the UK, the food blogger frequently shares her practical and time-saving recipes on her blog Half a Coconut.

In the viral clip, Marie who goes by the username @halfacoco showed users how to make a quick edible potato bowl using mash.

To recreate this nifty hack at home, you only need a plate, a small bowl and a larger bowl.

Method:

  1. Place your small bowl upside down and into the larger bowl.
  2. Then, cover the small bowl with your mash all the way until it’s about 1cm off the brim of the large bowl.
  3. Next, pop the plate on top and flip it over like you would with an upside-down pineapple cake.
  4. Remove the large bowl and small bowl. You will now have an edible mash bowl.
  5. Fill the edible mash bowl with your mince mixture and enjoy.

The hack created a lot of interest of the video sharing platform attracting 109.8k likes and over 700 comments.
