Tips for storing your barbecue chicken leftovers

  • If you’re not using your store-bought roast chook straight away. remove it from the packaging and refrigerate whole in an airtight container for no more than 2 days.
  • If the chicken has a stuffing, transfer the stuffing to a separate container.
  • One regular size (about 1.6kg un-stuffed) barbecue chicken will give you about 3½ cups shredded meat.
