If you’re a fan of Colin’s creative cooking, then you may already have guessed at which of his recipes are top of the ladder.

But you may be surprised by the current winner of ‘best recipe’ for 2025. It’s a classic dessert, with a twist that makes it extremely easy to cook. Find out which of Colin’s recipes are fan-favourites for 2025 down below.

It’s no surprise that a 10-minute winter warmer makes the top of the list. However, it’s the only dessert in Colin’s repetoire that made ‘best’ for the last two years!

With loads of winter flavours like ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and orange zest, you don’t even have to turn the oven on to make this dessert – it’s all done in the microwave.

Colin’s top recipes from 2024

Last year was Colin’s introduction on the Better Homes and Gardens TV show, and he started off with a bang! His best recipes from 2024 include family favourites and dinner classics. Notable mentions go towards his smoky eggplant pasta, and the quirky ‘chicken bread’ recipe.

There’s nothing quite like a simple spaghetti Bolognese recipe to please a crowd. When it comes to Colin’s recipe, he’s got all the traditional ingredients, plus a splash of milk to make your dinner creamy and delicious.

Chicken and leek pie has been a favourite comfort food for a long time. Colin’s added in tarragon, mushrooms and a sliced potato topping (instead of the usual pastry) for a unique spin on a classic.
