Beef stroganoff

If you’re in a rush, this beefed up main, served with herbed rice and pickle, takes only 15 minutes to prepare!

Method

Heat 1/2 oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add mushroom and fry for 5 minutes or until browned. Add garlic, thyme and caraway, then transfer mixture to a bowl.

Add remaining oil to pan. Add beef strips and cook until well browned. Stir in brandy, paprika, water and mushroom mixture. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Serve with herbed rice and pickle.
