You know that feeling when you’ve visited such a fabulous holiday destination that you want to pack it all up and take it home with you? The creators of The Soul of Gerringong have created that feeling on purpose, designing and decorating a “pop up” holiday house that doubles as a virtual retail space.
Sitting right next door to her big sister, who’s popularity and covetable decor inspired the idea, The Soul Cottage is a mini-me of the stunning farmhouse-to-guesthouse restoration project that opened for business on the NSW south coast late in 2017.
Open to guests for a limited time until mid-May 2019, The Soul Cottage is a pop-up holiday house experience where, once inspired by the breezy decor, soaring ceiling, white-washed walls and indoor-outdoor lifestyle, you can ‘shop the look’ from brands whose products populate the house, including The Beach People, HK Living, T&C Furniture, Cultiver an, Blacklist Store, to name a few.
“Our vision was to create a holiday property that had character and was light filled. A place for a family to spend their time away or for a small group of friends to come and relax.”
Simone Mathews, Owner and interior designer
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the ubiquitous outdoor shower for beach living, the cottage is perfect for sharing with friends and/or family.
All the comforts of home, beautifully executed within a lust-worthy, modern coastal decorating style and loads of charm.
The generous undercover deck offers endless potential for stylish outdoor entertaining.
