Tonight, Johanna’s visiting a remarkable home hidden amongst the tangled canopy of houses in inner-city Sydney. Once an old shopfront, the Jungle House is found in an inner-city conservation area, where late Victorian row terraces sit next to post-industrial warehouse conversions.
The building is designed as a response to climate change and Sydney weather in particular. From solar panels to wind turbines and more, this home has a grid-energy consumption of almost zero… and it’s a work of art, too. Johanna’s stepping inside the jungle for a look around.
