Everyone knows that it is almost impossible to get decent sleep on a flight when you’re cramped into economy.
However, UK Airline Thomas Cook has just announced a game-changing seat option for their economy guests: sleeper seats.
Thomas Cook have launched a new seating option called sleeper seats which allow an economy passenger to have an entire row to themselves. The seats have been on sale since March 15, 2019 for flights from may 2019 onwards and will be available on selected Thomas Cook Airline flights.
The seats are available to adults and children over 12 years, although the bed would best suit somebody under 180cm tall. Prices starts from AU$375.
The process works like this: book your flights as you would normally, then as you select additional luggage or what-have-you, simply select the sleeper seat option and add to your flight. You’ll need to pay for the sleep seat option each way if travelling return.
Check the seats out in the video below.
If you also booked a meal on your flight, your bed will be made up after the meals are served. Otherwise, you can sleep through the whole flight and there will be a seatbelt extension to keep you secure should your flight hit any turbulence.
You’ll get a pillow, blanket, amenity kit, fitted sheet and headrest.
