Everyone knows that the best thing about a Big Mac is the Special Sauce, an ingredient made with from a closely guarded secret recipe (though there have been imitations).
Now the iconic Maccas sauce has been bottled up in support of McHappy Day. There are over 144,000 500ml bottles available in McDonald’s stores nationwide, with all profits going to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Maccas is asking Australians to help raise awareness and support families who are going through a tough time by sharing how they’re using their Special Sauce in everyday meals. Simply hashtag #mchappyday to help spread the word.
McDonald’s have also announced the return of Big Mac Silly Socks for 2019, with profits also going directly to RMHC.
Director of Marketing at McDonald’s Australia Jo Feeney said, “We know that Big Mac Special Sauce has a loyal following, and we’re excited to bring back bottles of this Aussie favourite for our customers for a limited time. Pick up your bottle in restaurants around the country in the lead up to McHappy Day.”
