When it comes to kitchen appliances, Nagi Maehashi of RecipeTin Eats has tried them all.
But right now, there’s one that has completely stolen her heart: the cordless stick blender.
“I keep meaning to show you,” she says in a recent Instagram story. “This is my current favourite appliance. It’s a cordless stick blender. How good is that?”
The stick blender she’s talking about is the KitchenAid GO Cordless Hand Blender.
Is the KitchenAid cordless stick blender any good?
For Nagi, this simple tool has become a one-stop cooking appliance. Unlike bulkier appliances, the cordless stick blender takes up hardly any space in her newly renovated kitchen, and the dishwasher-safe attachments make cleaning up a breeze.
“Literally, I use this for pesto, curry paste, soups, dips, puree and smoothies (as long as there’s no ice). It’s just so good,” she says. “It’s so compact, you just charge it, click on the attachment and pop it in the dishwasher.”
She adds, “I spend my life trying to figure out how I can make recipes where I can use a stick blender instead of a food processor,” she admits.

Not a sponsored post
And while the stick blender she uses happens to be a KitchenAid, Nagi is quick to stress there’s no brand tie-in here.
“By the way, this is not a sponsored post. I don’t work with brands. This is not sponsored,” she clarifies.
Where to buy
The KitchenAid GO Cordless Hand Blender is available from major retailers, including KitchenAid’s official website, The Good Guys, Myer and other appliance stockists across Australia.
It’s also available for a limited time at ALDI in the Special Buys section on Wednesday 15th October 2025. Read more here.
