But the combined threats of climate change, loss of habitat, and the increased risk of disease mean that many of our wild koala populations are under serious threat.

The Koala Hospital at Port Macquarie has been looking after sick and injured wild koalas for more than 40 years, with the help of its dedicated team of volunteers.

Dr Harry’s stopping by to see the team in action and to take part in one of the very special moments these volunteers live for; the release of a koala back into the wild.
