Mooloolaba, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, is probably the last place you’d expect to find a piece of Brazil. But when star architect Shaun Lockyer was asked to design a home here, he discovered the two locations shared similar sub-tropical climates and so he made Brazil his inspiration. Designed to make the most of an awkward, wedge-shaped block, this ‘V’-shaped property has stunning canal views and loads of Brazilian style. Johanna and Pete are checking it out.
