Have you had your eye on the Dyson blower and constantly looked up Dyson hair dryer reviews? But the real question as a consumer is, is the Dyson hair dryer worth it?

Ever since I read that you shouldn’t air dry your hair, I’ve converted to blow drying my hair every night. It is a nuisance, but experts say that it’s best practice for your scalp and overall hair health.
I recently tested the Dyson hair dryer AKA the most luxurious hair dryer on the market, that all celebrity hair stylists like Jen Atkin and Dyson lovers use to blow dry their mane. And the brilliant news is that it’s cut down the time spent standing in the bathroom drying my hair by about half.

Dyson hair dryer review: The pros and cons
The pros: What I loved
It’s fast drying. Don’t be shocked if you find that your hair dries faster, because mine did. It normally takes me about 20 minutes to dry my hair, but the Dyson cut my drying time time by half. As someone who finds drying their hair a chore, this is a huge plus.
It’s sturdy. If you find that the nozzle always falls off your hair dryer, it won’t with this hair tool, thanks to the magnetic attachments.
It doesn’t feel hot. Sometimes when I dry my hair in one spot for too long, it feels like I’ve burnt my already damaged hair. But with the Dyson even on the hottest and fastest setting, my hair didn’t feel burnt or crisp afterwards.
It’s easy to use. I found that although there are more setting with the Dyson, it was pretty simple to get the hang of it and I could easily switch between the temperature and speed settings to find something that works well for my hair routine.
It’s portable. Don’t be surprised by the presentation box that it comes in. It’s actually quite a small device that will easily fit in your carry-on luggage when travelling.
The cons: What I didn’t love
It is expensive. Are Dyson hair dryers worth the money? With a price tag of $649, it is a luxury item and a splurge. It’s currently on sale for $499 which is the cheapest I’ve seen it. But like all Dyson products, you are paying for a quality product.
To note: It does come with a two-year warranty.
It’s not silent. While Dyson has claimed that the Supersonic hair dryer is quieter than its competitors, I found that it was still quite noisy depending on the attachment. However, when I used the gentle air attachment (the one that I use the most), it was much quieter than other hair dryers on the market.
