How to guarantee all your groceries will fit in the fridge
Midea has adapted standard fridge doors to be 20% thinner than usual, making more space for your fruits, vegies and meats to stay chilled. It has affected space so much that their Quad Door model has 706L capacity – for context, the normal capacity for 4-door refrigerators is 550-650L. You can easily store two weeks’ worth of a bulk grocery shop with that much extra space.
And for bigger birthday cakes or a giant watermelon that doesn’t fit on any shelf, you can also move the shelving around. Move shelves up and down or take out compartments entirely, like the side door ‘bin’, to accommodate larger, awkward-sized products. Yes, now you can fit your whole slow cooker in the fridge if you can’t be bothered with storing leftovers.

Head of Marketing for Midea (ANZ), Christie Yuen, explains that the new fridge range is committed to making a ‘meaningful difference in the daily lives of consumers’, including minimising food waste. The new Space Master range has three flexible cooling zones where fruit, vegies, meats and drinks can be kept at their optimal temperature. The multi-flow air system circulates cool air throughout the fridge from multiple air ducts, ensuring that the temperatures you’ve set stay consistent. No longer will a fridge clean-out scare you each Sunday before the big shop.
Midea appliances are a solid, budget-friendly option for large families that need extra storage space and newer fridge features. Their pricing is much lower than premium brands, without compromising on quality.
A standard fridge is between 350 and 500L. The lower end is best for single or couple households, while around 500-600L works best for 4-person families.
