Now that December 26th has finally arrived, all the best Boxing Day sales have officially landed. That includes savings on a huge range of appliances for the home; many of which we’re expected to sell out because of just how good these savings are.
In fact, my jaw literally dropped when I saw the Dreame F10 robot vacuum and mop for $899 at Amazon. I’m also really tempted by some of the robot lawn mower deals, especially the discount on the Husqvarna Automower 305 $1928 at Amazon. Then there’s the TVs and tech deals, kitchen appliances (of which I have many looking a bit tired now)… the list goes on.
Check out our other Boxing Day sales guides for 2025

So if, like me, you’ve been waiting for a bargain on some new appliances, here I’ve rounded up deals you can shop now for your kitchen, home cleaning, entertainment and more.

Four tips to get Boxing Day deals on appliances you want
On the 26th of December, Boxing Day marks the biggest sales period of the year in Australia. With so many discounts and deals on offer, here are four tips to help you make sure you get as much value for your money as possible.
1. Make a list of appliances you want
This is a simple and very effective way to keep your eye on the prize. Think about what you really want, chat with others in your household about it, and organise a list that prioritises appliances that will have the biggest impact.
2. Set a spending limit
As well as helping you stick to your household budget, setting a spending limit also helps you stay focused on the deals that offer the most value for your home.
3. Start looking as soon as possible
While Boxing Day sales often run until the new year, some of the most popular items may sell out early. And there’s no guarantee you’ll save more if you wait for a better deal. So if you see the exact appliance you want at a price you’re happy to pay, it’s worth keeping that in mind.
4. Check the return and warranty details
It’s easy to forget the more practical factors when you’re snagging a great deal on appliances you want. But before you confirm your order at the checkout, take a quick moment to check the store’s return policy for sale items, as well as the product’s warranty details.
While Australians do have consumer guarantees in many situations, retailers can set their own policies for change-of-mind returns. And in some cases, sale items may not be accepted if you decide you don’t like the colour of an appliance or don’t really need it. So it’s worth taking a moment to check these details – along with the shipping costs and any restocking fees that might be charged if you do make a return.
The Boxing Day sales period is a great time to buy appliances in Australia because almost every retailer offers competitive discounts and pricing during this time.
How we select the best Boxing Day appliance deals for this guide
The Better Homes & Gardens team regularly review and compare the appliance deals available on the market and select products to include based on our partners and the following criteria:
- Product popularity
- Discount value, including prices and offers between retailers
- Product features and design
- Warranty coverage
- Reviews and ratings including our own hands-on experiences when possible
- Other notable features or elements, such as bundle deals
We also consider different price-points and availability of stock to make it easier for you to compare and choose appliances and deals that work for you.
