Who says you can’t enjoy your favourite childhood combo in smoothie form? This PB&J smoothie recipe is the perfect blend of creamy peanut butter and sweet, tart jam—minus the bread!
It’s rich, indulgent and packed with protein, making it the ideal treat for any time of the day. Whether you’re in need of a quick breakfast or a post-workout snack, this smoothie brings all the nostalgic flavours you love, with a little extra fuel to keep you going.

Method
To make the peanut butter mixture, in a blender, combine banana, peanut butter and 1/2 cup milk. Cover and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides and adding additional milk as needed.
In a medium bowl, whisk together yoghurt and jam. Add additional jam, as needed, for flavour.
If you like, smear or drizzle additional peanut butter and/or jam
on the inside of two glasses. Divide the peanut butter mixture between the glasses, then top with yoghurt mixture. Garnish with fresh grapes.

Cook’s tip!
- Line a baking pan or oven tray with baking paper. Wash and dry fruits (or vegies), then chop or slice into uniform pieces.
- Spread pieces in a single layer on prepared pan or tray. Freeze until firm, at least one hour.
- Once frozen, pack in freezer-safe containers or reusable silicone pouches. Label with type of produce, amount and date. Frozen fruit keeps for up to three months.
