It doesn’t take long to prepare this traditional French dessert. You can also substitute the canned peach slices for any other fruit you can think of!

Preheat oven to moderately hot, 190°C. Spray a 23cm round baking dish with oil.Â

Sift flour, custard powder and nutmeg into a bowl. Stir in sugar.Â

In a jug, whisk milk, yoghurt, egg whites and vanilla together. Beat into flour until smooth. Pour into pan.Â
4.
Arrange peaches over batter in dish. Bake 40-45 mins until firm, puffed and lightly golden. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
