Chocolate and sea salt shortbread

Bring your traditional shortbread – homemade or good quality purchased – right on trend by dipping one end in melted dark chocolate and sprinkling with a little fleur de sel or sea salt.

Method

Line an oven tray with baking paper. Put chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave chocolate on high/100%, stirring twice, for 30-60 seconds
or until melted
.

Dip shortbread, 1 piece at a time, halfway into melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip back into bowl. Put shortbread on prepared tray. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Stand for 1-2 hours or until set, before serving
