There’s a simple solution to stop bugs and other creepy crawlies from coming in through your window, and you’ve probably already got some in your kitchen cupboard.
Deter bugs, especially spiders, from entering your home with white vinegar.
All you have to do is mix water with the vinegar in a spray bottle and spray around the edges of your windows, both inside and out (if possible).
As Natural Living Ideas explains: “As vinegar contains acetic acid that harms them, using a diluted vinegar solution will help you to safely and successfully repel the eight-legged creatures.”

Alternatively, if you don’t have any vinegar, a few drops of peppermint into a spray with water will have the same effect.
