Leading supermarket chain Coles has partnered up with Australia’s biggest food delivery service, Uber Eats, to launch a Coles hot food menu that can be delivered to your door in 30 minutes or less.
The ready-to-eat meals menu is only available in Pagewood, Sydney while the trial rolls out, but if it’s successful the delivery service could be available across the country.
If you happen to live in Pagewood, the Coles ready-to-eat meal menu includes barbecue hot roast chicken, roast pork, pork ribs and lamb shanks, plus wedges, nuggets, spring rolls and sandwiches. All you need to do to get your hands on a delicious hot meal is order via the Uber Eats app.
“Our delivery drivers are always telling us they see Uber Eats bags on benches,” Ms Freudmann told news.com.au
“After observing that customer habits are changing, that they’re even more time poor with less time to cook, we thought this would be a good way to help make life easier.”
As with usual Uber Eats fees, the service will cost $5 and is available between 10am and 8pm.
