The state of your fridge can get out of handy very quickly.
One minute, it’s organised and the next, you can’t find the mustard you swear was in there.
The problem is that no matter how many times you organise your fridge, if you don’t have designated areas for your food, the chaos will return.
A very clever person has taken to Instagram to share a tip they use to help keep their fridge organised: painters tape.
Ellen Bennett (@ellenmariebennett) posted on Instagram saying her friend’s fridge needed to be overhauled.
“Your fridge was messy as hell so I overhauled it 😜💪🏻😎… let’s be honest, it needed the blue tape labels, a deep organizational EB touch and a whole lot of TLC. 😂 You’re welcome Matt, love you too 💅⚡”
Here’s how Ellen organises a fridge:
- Step 1 – Take everything out of the fridge and give it a clean.
- Step 2 – Decide what food to keep and what stays.
- Step 3 – Use painters tape to mark where everything in your fridge should go. This is the key for keeping your fridge organised after you’ve cleaned it.
Ellen’s friend’s fridge has gone from chaos to organised, and hopefully the tape will help to keep things that way.
Alternatively, you could use washable markers, as Ellen has done previously in images she shared on Instagram.
