My Reno Rules may be the most life-changing renovation show in Australian history. It’s not only transformed the lives of lucky winners and now-millionaires, Mitch and Shaz, but two lucky viewers and subscribers of Adrian Portelli’s rewards club, LMCT+, were given the opportunity to win one of the newly renovated homes, or take a $2 million cash prize.
Who won the houses?
The first lucky Aussie to become a multi-millionaire overnight was Nathan B from the Central Coast in NSW. With 3 minutes to answer the call, he answered after two, and decided to take the $2 million over the house.
Graham C was the second lucky winner from Ballarat VIC. He also decided to take the money because his daughter just got engaged.

That left Adrian Portelli with two newly renovated homes, begging the question – what is he going to do with them?
Adrian’s plans for the houses
I reached out to Adrian to find out what his plans are for the properties and while he hasn’t got an exact plan as yet, he did share a few options he’s mulling over.
“I’ll let the dust settle first and then decide what I’d like to do,” he said. “Whether it be run the homes as a giveaway promotion again, or sell the house, we shall see.”
This isn’t Adrian’s first time doing major house giveaways, but being his first TV show as a main sponsor, he was thrilled with how it all turned out.
“For a first season, I feel the show was fantastic. There’s been many attempts by every network at creating a renovation show, and I think we were able to use that as a core but then implement a twist which was a hit. That twist being all contestants winning prizes based on judge scoring, and then the giveaway of homes to Australian viewers sitting at home.

Adrian’s message to the winners
And as for the lucky winners, Mitch and Shaz?
“Absolutely well deserved,” Adrian said. “They listened, and they acted. In a show where your fate is in the judges hands, listening to every word they have to say is a powerful tool to getting yourselves up the leaderboard.”
