The Lott has revealed the numbers that might get you a share of the winnings, releasing the ‘hot’ and ‘cold numbers based on the past 25 draws.
The hottest? it seems the most common winning numbers are 32 and 25, appearing 12 and nine times respectively. That represents nearly a one in two chance and one in three chance respectively. Not bad for a shot at 60 mil?
The ones you might need to steer away from? The number 12 has only come up once while 26 and 11 have only been drawn three times over the same period.
“The big question is – do you choose hot numbers in the hope that they live up to their reputation of being most frequently drawn, or do you back the cold numbers believing they’re now up for the race?” says Powerball spokesperson Matt Hart, in a statement.
It’s expected nearly a fifth of Australians will chance their arm in tomorrow’s draw.
