Ginger beer ice cream is now a thing

And it’s here in time for Australia Day.

Hot off the back of Woolworths launching their Hot Cross Bun ice cream and Peter’s launching a range of Gelato Messina Drumsticks, it seems ice-creamery Gelatissimo didn’t want to be left out of the fun, and have launched their own creative ice-cream collaboration.

Ice-creamery Gelatissimo Gelato have teamed up with iconic Aussie craft brewery Bundaberg to produce a thirst-quenching ginger beer ice cream that’s got all the spice of ginger and the sweetness of a frosty dessert.

The latest in a long line of unusual ice cream flavours to be released in summer 2019,  the Ginger Beer gelato is a limited-edition gelato flavour perfect for cooling down during this heatwave that’s currently sweeping the nation.

To get your hands on this frosty beverage-inspired treat visit any Gelatissimo Gelato store across Australia from January 17 or, if you happen to be in the harbour city,
