Johanna catches up with artist Elise Cameron-Smith, who has become known for her incredibly beautiful and sculptural mini boats. Originally a graphic designer, Elise decided she needed to use her hands to make her art and stop staring at a screen for hours and hours on end. So, she retrained at the Sturt School of Wood and became a sculptor. At her sustainable studio in the bush, Joh and Elise talk about how she’s sailed forward in her creative career, how her studio works as sustainably as possible and Joh even has a go at some sculpting!
