How’s it work?

Pour in Place comes in a kit with the rubberized surface in a bag and a rubber binder in a bottle. Pour the binder into the bag containing the surface and mix for a couple of minutes. Pour this out onto the area you want to cover then shape and smooth the rubber. Each kit gives you enough for up to 1.5 square metres based on a 10mm thickness.

Let’s play!

Just like your local playground, a rubber surface is the perfect material to surround a backyard cubby or swing set. The surface will take the heavy wear and tear that these areas receive. It also prevents any scrapes and bruises that inevitably happen. For adequate soft fall protection, use a playground underlay under the surface.

On the right path

Pour in Place is perfect for high traffic areas that are hard to maintain, such as a path. It doesn’t require the preparation of pavers or concrete, just excavate the area and pour straight over the top. It also has an element of flex so isn’t as susceptible to cracking.

Around the pool

Around a pool is another challenging problem area that can be solved by Pour in Place. As well as being a smooth surface that’s comfortable under foot, it’s also permeable so water soaks through rather than running off.

Mould and shape

Rather than a whole surface, Pour in Place can also be used in an application such as garden edging or even over outdoor steps. Because it’s so viscous, it can be molded and shaped without the need for framing like concrete. It’s also maintenance free. As the colour is embedded in the material, there’s no need to paint or stain.
